Chiwiña, entrepreneurship for empowerment was born in 2021 as a response to the post-pandemic crisis. With the support of Move 92, we provided graphic services to 20 enterprises in urban and rural areas of La Paz, with the objective of strengthening their visual identity and improving their presence in social networks.
In order to more effectively support projects in rural areas, we focused on tourism-related ventures, one of the sectors most affected by health restrictions. This is how solidarity tours or ayni tourism were born, a way of traveling with purpose, bringing workshops, necessary supplies and generating direct income for the communities.
In addition, we make visual records and promote tourist attractions to stimulate activity in the regions we visit.
In a second stage, Chiwiña expanded its scope, reaching other locations in Bolivia such as Suriqui, Isla del Sol, Isla de la Luna, Toro Toro, Madidi, Pampas del Yacuma, Tocaña and Cachuela Esperanza. We are a small and committed team: a tourism specialist, two designers and a cameraman, accompanied by entrepreneurs who participated in the first stage of the project and who today share their knowledge through workshops on each trip.
